HRO steel, A36 Practical Machinist0183;32;I see some HRO steel plate for sale on ebay 5" diameter circles 1/2 thick. I can not figure out what HRO means. Is it maybe hot rolled. They also say it is A36. All I can find is HRO is some spec for steel toe boots. I need to know if it will machine flat and stay flat. And can it be welded. Bill D.
